Triple Whale alternatives: 15 marketing attribution and analytics tools for 2026

15 Triple Whale alternatives ranked on seven criteria: data isolation, versioned metrics, MCP access, sources, who runs the data, and data ownership.

The best Triple Whale alternative depends on why you’re leaving. If you need multi-touch attribution, Northbeam and Rockerbox are the closest substitutes. If you want profit and LTV dashboards for less, look at Lifetimely, Peel or BeProfit. If you want your own AI answering from numbers you trust, check where the data lives and who defines the metrics. As of October 26, 2026, 10 of the 15 tools compared here (67%) offered an MCP server for Claude or ChatGPT. Only Polar declared a dedicated database per customer on every plan (Polar), and none published versioned, customer-approved metric definitions.

Marketing attribution tool: software that connects ad clicks and impressions to orders, so you can see which channel, campaign or ad produced a sale. Most pair a tracking pixel with a reporting dashboard. Some also export the data to a warehouse or to an AI assistant over MCP.

Who wrote this ranking, and what criteria did it use?

Precisian wrote this ranking, and Precisian is on the list, in first place. I’m saying that up front so you can weigh the order knowing where it comes from. The ranking uses seven criteria built for one reader: a mid-size, multi-channel retailer without a data team that wants to run Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot on its business numbers.

  1. C1 · Per-customer data isolation. Separate environment, or a database shared across customers?
  2. C2 · Versioned metric definitions. Are “revenue” and “ROAS” written down, versioned and approved by the customer?
  3. C3 · Access from your own AI. Can you connect Claude or ChatGPT to the data over MCP or an API, without going through the vendor’s dashboard?
  4. C4 · Commerce sources. Store platform, ERP and ads (GA4, Meta, Google Ads, TikTok).
  5. C5 · Who runs the data. Does vendor staff handle collection, integrations and modeling, or do you run it yourself?
  6. C6 · Ownership and portability. If you leave, do you take the data?
  7. C7 · Pricing model. How it charges. Not scored.

For C1 through C6, each cell scores 1 for “yes,” ½ for “partial,” and 0 for “no” or “not stated.” “Not stated” means the vendor’s public pages don’t say, not that the product can’t do it. Ties go to C5, then C6, then alphabetical order. Every cell comes from each vendor’s public documentation.

I left out dashboard quality, attribution model depth and price. If those are your criteria, the order changes, and a buyer who wants multi-touch attribution will rightly put Northbeam first.

What does Triple Whale do well, and why do people look elsewhere?

Triple Whale bundles a pixel, multi-touch attribution, a managed warehouse, an AI agent (Moby) that can adjust budgets and pause ads, and a read-only MCP server on paid plans (Triple Whale). There’s a free plan; Foundation lists at $219 a month and Automate at $749 on the Shopify App Store, and paid plans are 12-month subscriptions priced by annual GMV (Triple Whale). Its terms grant the company a “perpetual, irrevocable” license to user content and allow aggregated derivatives (terms, §2.1). If the annual term, GMV-based pricing, those license terms or a store platform outside its native list is a problem for you, the alternatives below are where to look. A head-to-head is in Precisian vs. Triple Whale.

What does each alternative do well, and who is it for?

1. Precisian

A managed data platform. Each customer’s data sits in an isolated data lake on Precisian’s infrastructure, with a semantic layer on top: revenue, orders and ROAS defined with your team, versioned with date and author. You query it from your own AI, BI tool or automation over MCP and API. GA4, Meta Ads, Google Ads and TikTok Ads are included; VTEX and Magento have ready connectors; Shopify and ERPs connect as additional sources. Precisian Foundation covers GTM, server-side tagging and consent. “The infrastructure is ours, the data is yours. You can access it anytime, and if you leave, you take all of it.” It doesn’t run media, has no dashboard, sells no attribution product and doesn’t activate campaigns; the semantic-layer definitions leave with you, too. Today it serves companies in Brazil. Who it’s for: the reader described above. The failure it prevents is metric hallucination.

2. Polar Analytics

French, and the only tool here that declares a “Dedicated Snowflake database” per customer (Polar). It has a semantic layer with shared definitions (Polar), though versioning and approval aren’t mentioned. Official Claude and ChatGPT connector. From $750 a month on the Shopify App Store. Who it’s for: a Shopify brand with Amazon and Klaviyo that wants dashboards, activation and AI access without hiring a data team.

3. SourceMedium

Runs a managed BigQuery warehouse with “180+ defined metrics” and a read-only MCP server. Foundation uses a shared project with store-prefixed datasets; Pro gets a dedicated project (SourceMedium). Month-to-month, priced by quote, with onboarding by a US-based solutions engineer. Who it’s for: a Shopify and Amazon brand doing $10M to $500M+ a year with no data team.

4. Daasity

Ready-made omnichannel and contribution-margin models, an MCP server, and the option to run on your own Snowflake or BigQuery. Integrates Magento, NetSuite, GA4, Walmart and Amazon Vendor Central (Daasity). Self-serve plans at $1,499 and $1,999 a month (Daasity). Who it’s for: a consumer brand selling on Shopify, Amazon and in physical retail that wants margin models out of the box.

5. Northbeam

Multi-touch attribution, incrementality and media mix modeling in one dashboard, with MCP on every plan (Northbeam). It declares logical separation of customer data (Northbeam), and its terms make customer content the customer’s property, exportable for 90 days after the term ends (terms). Starter is $1,500, month to month, and Professional $3,500 a month (Northbeam). Who it’s for: a DTC brand with heavy, multi-channel paid media and developers available for the install.

6. RedTrack

Server-side tracking with conversion APIs for eight ad platforms, rules that pause ads and change bids, and MCP from the entry plan. Raw logs and reports are declared “Owned by user,” and there’s a free ecommerce tier (RedTrack). Who it’s for: an affiliate media buyer, or a Shopify or WooCommerce store that wants to send better conversion signals back to the platforms.

7. Rockerbox

Attribution, media mix modeling and incrementality testing with a managed service, covering TV, podcasts and direct mail. Syncs to BigQuery, Redshift and Snowflake (Rockerbox). DoubleVerify announced the acquisition for $85 million on February 26, 2025 (Business Wire). Who it’s for: a large consumer brand whose mix includes offline channels.

8. Conjura

Ten prebuilt dashboards, revenue and inventory forecasting, and the Owly AI agent. Plans run from $19.99 to $129.99 a month, on a pricing page whose tables don’t fully agree. Wayflyer announced the acquisition in June 2026 without saying what happens to the product (Conjura). Who it’s for: a small or mid-size brand selling on Shopify, Amazon and eBay.

9. Decile

Customer intelligence: predictive LTV, personas, data enrichment, and segments pushed to Meta, Google and Klaviyo, with an MCP server. Growth is $900 a month (Decile). It says it isn’t an attribution tool. Who it’s for: a Shopify Plus brand doing $5M to $100M that wants to segment its customer base.

10. Hyros

Ad tracking that sends conversions back to Meta and Google, plus MCP and API access. Price is sized to the revenue it tracks and quoted on a call (Hyros). Serves info products, SaaS and B2B as well as ecommerce. Who it’s for: a high-spend advertiser whose main question is which ad made the sale.

11. Lifetimely (AMP)

Daily P&L, predictive LTV, cohorts and MCP on every paid plan. Free up to 50 orders a month, paid plans from $49 to $999 (AMP). Shopify only, with Amazon as an add-on. Who it’s for: a founder-run Shopify store.

12. TrueProfit

Net profit per order and per ad, TikTok Shop included, with MCP on the Enterprise plan. From $35 to $200 a month, one plan per store (TrueProfit). Who it’s for: a small or mid-size Shopify store, dropshipping included.

13. Glew

“250+ KPIs,” 30 prebuilt customer segments and ERP integrations such as NetSuite and Dynamics 365. Pro is $250 a month with annual prepayment; Plus includes a Looker license (Glew). Who it’s for: a Shopify, BigCommerce or Magento brand with an ERP that wants ready reports.

14. Peel

Retention analytics: 30+ cohort KPIs, RFM segments and SQL access to a Snowflake instance on every plan. From $199 to $899 a month, 7-day trial (Peel). Who it’s for: a subscription brand on Shopify with a retention team.

15. BeProfit

A profit dashboard by order, product and store, across Shopify, Amazon and WooCommerce. From $49 to $249 a month, API on the top plan only (Shopify App Store). Who it’s for: a small or multi-store seller who wants net profit tomorrow, without help.

When should you not choose Precisian?

You run a US Shopify brand. Precisian serves companies in Brazil today. Polar, SourceMedium and Daasity are built for your stack.

You want a dashboard this week. Precisian has no front end. Lifetimely, Peel, BeProfit and TrueProfit install from the app store and show profit the same day.

Your question is attribution. Precisian doesn’t sell attribution or media mix modeling. Northbeam, Rockerbox and Triple Whale make that the product.

You want the tool to act on your media. Pushing segments to Meta or sending server-side conversions is what Decile, RedTrack and Hyros sell. For the limits of that signal, see what the Meta Conversions API can’t fix.

You’re small or self-serve. There’s no free plan and no self-serve signup.

Which tool fits which profile?

Small Shopify store that wants profit per order: Lifetimely, TrueProfit or BeProfit.

DTC brand with heavy paid media: Northbeam; with TV or podcasts in the mix, Rockerbox.

Brand without a data team that wants AI on a managed warehouse: Polar or SourceMedium.

Consumer brand with retail and Amazon: Daasity.

Mid-size retailer in Brazil with VTEX or Magento, marketplaces and WhatsApp, that wants its own AI to match the finance number: Precisian. Why that question goes wrong without written definitions is in why platform ROAS adds up to more than revenue.

What does this ranking not cover?

I didn’t test attribution accuracy or dashboard quality, and I don’t compare Enterprise plans, which none of these vendors publish. Where a site is silent, the cell says “not stated,” and a private contract may say more: ask each vendor in writing how one brand’s data is kept apart from another’s and what you get back when you leave. Prices change without notice, so check before you sign.

If your AI assistant already returns a revenue number that doesn’t match your books, the first step is measuring that gap and finding out which definition each number used. What Precisian includes to close it, and where pricing starts, is on the pricing page, with no contract commitment to look.
